Tattoos are a big commitment, but these celebs dared to go bold. From Mike Tyson to Justin Bieber and Post Malone, many celebrities have been donning tattoos on their faces over the last few weeks. Often, these tattoos are iconic and instantly recognizable.
Model and actress Amber Rose is first on the list. She was previously married to Wiz Khalifa, with whom she has one child. The model also dated Kanye West, and now she has a second child with her current partner, Alexander Edwards. Rose recently showed off a surprising new face tattoo tribute to her two children, Sebastian “Bash” Taylor Thomaz and Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. The tattoo reads “Bash Slash” in the bold cursive script right below the model’s hairline.
Chris Brown is another celebrity who got some new face ink this week. The singer revealed a brand-new tattoo of a sneaker on the side of his cheek. The sneaker is an Air Jordan 3 to commemorate his appreciation for the sneaker brand. He’s not just a fan of Air Jordan, but an avid collector as well.
Next up is none other than Post Malone. A possible frontrunner for the most face tattoos of all the celebs. His most recognisable is undoubtedly the “Always Tired” ink that can be seen just below each of his eyes. There is also “Stay Away” inked above his right eyebrow, a sword across his cheek, a tiny heart, the small smiley face, the finger peace sign, and the barbed wire across his forehead.
Mike Tyson may not be a newbie to the list but it’s iconic face tatt sets him aside from most. Dare we say he may even be the one that inadvertently started the look. The former boxer bravely opted for swipes across his face back in 2003. LADbible reported that Mike once revealed in an interview with In Depth with Graham Bensinger that he wanted to cover his face in hearts and be known as “The Man of Hearts.” Apparently the tattoo artist actually advised him against it. In the end, the heavyweight champion got ink that was reminiscent of the warrior tattoos the Māori tribe in New Zealand get.
Justin Bieber is no stranger to making the headlines and this time it’s owed to his latest ink. He chose to get the word “grace” in cursive font over his eyebrow by Tattoo artist JonBoy. The latest ink joins the small cross tatt at the corner of his left eye.
Last but not least to join the rankings is Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber. Presley fired back at haters who don’t like his new face tattoo after debuting the new ink last Friday. One day after getting the word “misunderstood” inscribed underneath his eye, the model, 20, took to Instagram to respond to people who didn’t get why he would permanently change his appearance.
“But whhhhy?” one Instagram comment wrote on Gerber’s social media account after he shared a video of himself getting tatted. “You’ll regret that decision VERY soon,” another wrote.
He then pointed out that “if I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it,” the New York Post’s Page SixOpens in a new Window. reported. “I think that’s a pretty obvious thing.”
“I just wanted to come on here and be, like, if anyone has s–t to say to me about this or anything else and my family or how I grew up or anything, I will give you my address,” he said. “I promise, and you can come say it to my face.”
