We’re now only a few weeks away from the release of the highly-anticipated Frozen 2, arriving in cinemas six years after the original.
After all the hype and records beaten, it seems there are still only three people in this world who are not completely and utterly excited for the Disney sequel – Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik, Kristen Bell’s daughter and that guy whose wife divorced him because he didn’t like the first movie.
Disney have teased more about what is in store for Frozen 2 as they dropped the third trailer on Monday, ahead of its release next month. Check it out below:

What do we know about the sequel so far? Unsurprisingly, the trailer set a new record for Disney, racking up an impressive 116.4 million views in its first 24 hours, breaking Incredibles 2’s record as the most-watched trailer of all-time for an animated movie.
The official synopsis does confirm that we’ll be getting some answers to major questions left behind in the first movie:
“Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom,” it reads.
“Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.”
Set three years after the events of Frozen, Elsa (Idina Menzel) and sister Anna (Kirsten Bell) go on a journey to explore if she was born with her magical powers. Together with Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, the duo set out on a dangerous but remarkable expedition as their kingdom Arendelle faces terrible danger.
Joining the cast of Frozen 2 is Evan Rachel Wood as Queen Iduna, who was voiced by Jennifer Lee in the first film, while Sterling K Brown will play Lt. Destin Mattias.
Some fans of the franchise were hoping to see Elsa be given a love interest in the sequel but one of the film’s songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez confirmed she would not have a romantic storyline.
Frozen 2 is set to be released in UK and US cinemas on Friday, November 22.
