We decided to take a sneak peek into the everyday life of our presenter and blogger Chia Kougianos and challenged her with a sweater to wear three different ways in three days, check it out…

It’s been a busy month here at The Socialite headquarters as we recently celebrated our 5^th birthday and what a year it has been! The past year saw us exceed 180 000 video views,  lend our talents to a Spanish Novella, pull off a radio segment live from the Sandton Gautrain and appear on Trace Sports as a regular on Top 20. There’s never a dull day and with Autumn around the corner we thought we’d give Chia a challenge with this gorgeous Sweater from MANGO creating three looks in three hot little ways.

Day 1. Look 1.

Durban was alive with excitement as the news broke of Goldfish’s return to Durban shores and their upcoming live performance at the Durban Botanic Gardens for the Old Mutual Music at The Lake Series. The hot duo have been crazy busy and have performed in some of the world’s most glamourous cities from Chicago and San Francisco to Buenos Aires, London and Rome. Now they coming back for one night only and The Socialite will be covering the event. The first order of business? Checking out the venue and scoping out filming opportunities for our Socialite video portal of course. So I decided to pay the Botanic Gardens a visit on Day 1 for a quick recce. It’s hard to say it was a tough day in the office when you’re surrounded by such a picturesque setting. For this look I teamed the MANGO sweater with boho chic pants and a pair of killer heels as one would expect nothing less from a Socialite…

Day 2. Look 2.

While there may be a whole lot of fresh new changes to The Socialite with the addition of Trace Sports and our video showcases, one thing hasn’t changed is that we still here to provide you with exclusive content on Fashion, Lifestyle and Entertainment. We underwent a whole new look and have given the portal a little face lift as well. Day 2 also saw me undertake a fresh new look and this time a pair of black stiletto heels were teamed with a cute dress perfect for a day in the office and for popping out to see a few clients and working behind the scenes on The Socialite. It’s casual and comfortable yet effortlessly stylish and for the afternoon chill the sweater is an ideal item to have on hand or wear as a glamorous accessory.

Day 3. Look 3

Day three involved a little visit to the gorgeous Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel for a few drinks with the girls. Tonight’s look was inspired by the key piece, the beige sweater added with some leather and sky high heels. The sweater truly is such a versatile item to have in your wardrobe as it’s neutral it’s easy to mix with any other colour and it’s great for layering so you can style it in so many different ways. The Autumn season is almost upon us and that means the chill is coming too!
