Ja.fm recently celebrated its first birthday with a concert at The Lemon Jack Theatre in Pretoria with a host of SA personalities and musos. The Socialite was there to find out more…

The delightful birthday bash was emceed by veteran DJ Barney Simon and featured Afrikaans music celebs in the form of Dans Dans Lisa, Bouwer Bosch and Amanda Strydom.

A truly moving and captivating performance given by Amanda Strydom was enjoyed by all. Few performers can boast a career as diverse and expansive as Amanda Strydom. She brings so much of her personal trials and tribulations into her performance that it feels like you’re getting to know an old friend.

The invited guests were also treated to an energetic performance by popular Afrikaans performers Bouwer Bosch and Dans Dans Lisa and DJ Barney Simon brought his unique presence to the event.
