Belvedere Vodka hosted an elite private dinner in honour of the star’s New Look Foundation which saw a host of Jozi’s social, business and political leaders in attendance including the likes of Nicky and Lee-Ann Van der Walt, David Kau, Thula Sindi, and Zizi Kodwa.
Guests were greeted with refreshing cocktails and Usher gave a speech on his interest in charity and his attraction to South Africa. Usher has been associated with the Belvedere Vodka brand for quite some time and was chosen to be the brand ambassador for the Belvedere (RED) initiative which raises money for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.
He states that the purpose of him coming to South Africa, aside from his performance at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, is to meet people from South Africa and create awareness about his new foundation which aims to give hope to youth worldwide.
