Dubbed as a “practice wedding”, the two love birds are officially hitched. Or are they? Rumours are circulating about whether or not this is a publicity stunt and if any legal papers were filed prior to the Vegas ceremony.
Following the 2022 Grammy Awards, the pair were seen visiting the One Love Wedding Chapel in Vegas.
In an Instagram post Kourtney Kardashian shared a series of photos of her and Barker at the wedding chapel, captioned: “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license).”
“Practice makes perfect,” she wrote.
TMZ was the first to report that Kardashian and Barker had tied the knot, and at this time, it is unclear if the duo had a marriage license prior to the ceremony.
The ceremony is said to have taken place around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, just a few short hours after Barker performed live at the 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony. The ceremony was confirmed to NBC News by chapel owner Marty Frierson. Frierson also said, “They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis. They showed a lot of love and had a lot of fun.”
