Five years on, they re-unite for a weekend away to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival…and Girls Trip unravels on the big screen, taking you and your girls on an amazing adventure. Girls Trip is also the film that Ster-Kinekor has lined up as a special pre-screening for its July Girlfriends’ Getaway event, which is taking place at select Ster-Kinekor cinemas nationwide, on Wednesday, 26 July — exclusively for ladies.
The antics of these women will have your eyes glued to the screen and is the perfect movie for you and your besties. The new release stars some of your Hollywood favourites including the likes of Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and Tiffany Haddish.
Throughout the film, wild sides are rediscovered, and there’s enough dancing in neon wigs, drinking 100-year-old Absinthe, hallucinating, brawling, and romancing to keep you entertained.
