Fancy seeing an American-German action film starring Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Apocalypse), Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Sir Anthony Hopkins (Cannibal)? Well Collide is the answer and it’s coming to theatres soon thanks to Open Road Films and Ster-Kinekor.

In Collide, it tells the tale of an American backpacker Casey Stein played by Nicholas Hoult who gets involved with a ring of drug smugglers as their driver and he later winds up on the run from his employers across Munich’s high-speed freeways. His girlfriend Juliette played by Felicity Jones is in need of a $200,000 kidney transplant which neither can afford. He has no choice but to go back to work for his former drug smuggling boss Geran, played by Ben Kingsley. Casey is assigned a dangerous mission where he has to overtake a truck filled with drugs. The heist goes horribly wrong and Casey finds himself on the run from mob boss Hagen played by Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Now Casey has precious cargo that belongs to Hagen who will stop at nothing to retrieve it. Left with no choice, Casey calls Geran to protect Juliette before Hagen can get his hands on her.

The film includes an adrenaline-fueled car chase on the German highways, multiple action scenes and we see how Casey’s love for his girlfriend is truly put to the test. To save her he must ultimately return to a dark past. How far would you go for love?
