The whimsical tale centres on a strong-willed seventeen-year-old girl living a seemingly ordinary life. But Lucinda “Luce” Price is anything but ordinary and she soon finds herself in reform school. Sword and Cross Reform School becomes home for the troubled teen as it is soon revealed that she was accused of a crime she didn’t commit and is blamed for the death of a boy she didn’t kill. While at the reform school she meets Daniel (played by Jeremy Irvine) and Cam (played by Harrison Gilbertson) who are both drawn to her but are withholding unthinkable truths.
Luce soon becomes drawn to the two mysterious students and feels a connection when nothing else seems to bear any real meaning to her. She sets out to uncover the secrets of her past and discovers love and adventure along the way.
