In this week’s Fashion Focus feature we showcase Lebanese designer Elie Saab’s Resort Collection, check it out…
The boho range delved into inspiration from Japan–ranging from the traditional kimono as well as more modern, pop inspired touches. Here you’ll find traditional pieces such as a kimono that transforms into a high slit gown or cropped jacket while cherry blossom prints cover everything from gowns to outerwear and more. Saab also introduced more rock and roll vibes such as leather belts over mini dresses or open shoulder styles. A tracksuit jacket embellished with sequins brings a luxe spin to the athleisure classic.
The Resort 2017 Collection draws inspiration from both Oriental and Western styles and also features an aspect of Pop culture inspired items. Here we can look forward to bold colours, daring prints and feminine accents. The collection celebrates the elegance of the female form whilst adding a contemporary element to bring it stylishly into the modern era.
You can also look forward to seeing Saab’s signature styling with romantic, feminine pieces and lots of ruffles. It’s no secret that the Lebanese designer has been renovating his brand for some time now and we’re delighted to reveal a sneak peek of his latest collection below:
