South Africa has more than just proven its ability to stage major sporting events and with Durban’s bid to host the 2022 Commonwealth Games what better way to celebrate the campaign than with celebrating our city. With its world-class facilities, beautiful sunshine and surf, and outstanding accommodation and venues Durban is the ideal city to host the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Join us on our journey as we produce a series of videos dedicating to highlighting the bid campaign, our city and its people. With its abundance in sunshine, fascinating heritage and thriving sports life, the city on the East Coast leaves much to be desired. We are delighted to showcase Durban and its exciting hotspots, cultural heritage and personalities as we bid to play host to the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Our first Video Showcase is set to showcase Durban’s Golden Mile and all the beauty the coast has to offer. We then headed down to the Kings Park Stadium to showcase the rugby and feature one on one interviews with some of our Sharkette dancers.
