The brand’s gorgeous assorted range reflects the very latest in trends and the items are rather easy on the wallet making it an ideal shopping destination.
Call It Spring’s unique Fall Winter 2012 collection consists of three themes: British Country, Gotham City and Northern Folk. Each story promises a variety of styles, silhouettes and shades.
The British Country theme is the most significant in the 2012 collection where timeless footwear styles are featured throughout, including riding boots, Oxfords, desert boots and Mary Janes. These classics get a modern interpretation for a style that is unique and exciting in design. This theme sees Call It Spring pair suede satchels with romantic chunky-heels and penny loafers with brushed leather school bags.
Gotham City, the second theme, showcases urban style in its most sophisticated form: edgy, asymmetrical and coolly calculated. It features a colour palette ranging from icy white to black. With a focus on the shape of the product, the collection showcases sculptural platforms and chunky heels in textures such as stretch fabric, snakeskin and suede. Gotham City offers punk-edge for the ladies and a more chilled outlook for the guys. Think androgynous styles with military notes, lots of laced boots and a biker edge.
Lumberjacks meet city slickers in the last theme, Northern Folk. Shearling-lined wedge lace-ups, checkered and Scandinavian patterns and lots of chunky knits are key pieces for the ladies, while work boots, duck boots and alpine styles unite practicality with urban-hipness for the men. The textures, including brushed leather, sheepskin and felt, are all about warmth and comfort-chic.
Present in 13 countries, Call It Spring boasts more than 200 stores across Canada, the United States, the Middle East, Europe and Asia as well as being launched recently in sunny old SA. Check out a Call It Spring store near you at Menlyn, Cresta, Canal Walk, Sandton City and Durban.
