The Socialite crew together with Socialite presenter Chia Kougianos paid a visit to Durban restaurant Plum, sister to the acclaimed Jam restaurant in Morningside, in their new premises situated at 743 currie road to find out what they have in store with their new menu and summer offerings. Upon your arrival you are greeted with a gorgeous funky outside area with lime sofas and lime cushions where patrons can indulge in decadent ice coffees and snack on fresh pastries and snacks while enjoying the calming outdoor setting.

Chef Jason Turner was joined by 18 year old Tyron Pretorius who began a three week internship to the Plum and Jam restaurants courtesy of the Signature Life Hotel group and East Coast Radio. Although he is living with Cystic fibrosis and has had to adapt his lifestyle, it has not stopped this young man from excelling in sports and academics.
