The Socialite recently paid a visit to the Lunar boutique in Durban for a summer collection fashion shoot and today we bring you a behind the scenes look at what went down, check it out…

The Lunar boutique, situated in 67 Stamfordhill road in Durban offers women truly striking pieces that focus on style, quality and affordability. Lunar’s “Style has a New Address” motto is felt throughout the boutique as you enter into a haven of clothes, red carpets and chandeliers.

Make-up artist Tara Ritchie and hairstylist Jenna Love from the Make-up Your Mind studio were on set to glam the models up for the shoot. We decided to opt for nude shades and bold smoky eyes for the models make-up whilst the hairstyles ranged from soft Goddess curls to natural and straight.

Glaceau Vitamin Water was also on location for the day to keep the models feeling hydrated and refreshed. The nutrient enhanced water has become the ideal fashion accessory amongst cities such as New York, Tokyo and Paris and graced our shores in 2009 hydrating local fashionistas, socialites and people alike.

The collections showcased in the shoot depicted five different looks, mainly Back and White, a signature look for Lunar, bold colours, animal print and a Kim Kardashian inspired range and lastly elegant evening wear.
