Roger Goode Live

The Goode Doctor himself Roger Goode is in town this week and will be performing live at the stylish new Playboy nightclub, situated at 672 Umgeni Road (the Old Clapham Grand)
Pop in to see him pull out all the stops to fire up your Saturday night with a party like no other as well as the boys of Digital Kaos who will be performing a set of their own. Mat and Gregg OD of Digital Kaos, two of Durban’s hottest, progressive, house DJs produce their own music and have been hard at work producing an album set to come out later this year.
R20 gets you in before 10pm and R40 after.

Quays Whole Food Night Market

The fabulous Whole Food Market, until recently based at Colombo Tea and Coffee, is moving to the elegant, spacious Quays in Brown Rd, on the edge of the canal in the Point Development area with their first market in the new location taking place this Thursday, 7 April 2011.
Included in the stallholders mix is organic meats; honey on tap; organic pizzas; artisan breads; fresh olives; marinated feta cheese; fresh herbs; and fresh fruit and veg.
Again, there will be plenty to taste, as well as boutique wines, cocktails, salon beers and beer from micro-breweries. There will be sun-downer specials from 5pm until 6pm.
There is ample parking – alongside the Quays, at the Durban Underwater Club and nearby uShaka, and there will be additional security personnel on duty. To find The Quays – take the second left after uShaka at Wodka, and go over the canal bridge as though going to Durban Underwater Club. The Night Market will be on your right.
