The allure of glamour and style and a dazzling VIP list proved to be too hot to handle as the highly anticipated FTV Florida Road was told to shut its doors on launch night. The show went on however and a night of high fashion and entertainment awaited as FTV celebrated a pre-launch party providing a mere taste of what is to come. The Socialite was there to bring you the exclusive… The gorgeous multi-faceted venue will incorporate a FTV Café and restaurant ideal for lunches and catch up coffee meetings or cocktails with the girls as well as a lounge and nightclub. Local fashionistas can also look forward to the in-house retail store offering a variety of FTV merchandise. The array of gorgeous guests, fine dining and local entertainment proved too hot to handle as the eThekwini Municipality informed FTV Florida Road to shut its doors hours before the highly anticipated launch. The show went on however and the party was moved to Café Vacca Matta where guests were given a taste of what is to come. Thursday night saw Café Vacca Matta open its doors to members of the media, invited guests and celebs from across SA gathered in celebration of the highly anticipated Fashion TV Florida Road. Guests included Pixie Bennet, Lee-Ann Roberts, Former Miss SA Megan Coleman, Loui Fish, City Bowl Mizers, Thulani Radebe and fashion designers Haroun Hansrot, Karen Monk Klijnstra and artist Steve Mandy to name but a few.If the pre-launch is anything to go by one can only await in baited breathe for the Durban hotspot to open its doors as a world of fashion and entertainment awaits Durbanites like never before.
