SA’s Rowan Stuart Live in Cape Town

SA singer-songwriter-guitarist Rowan Stuart will be visiting the Western Cape this month for the first time, to promote his brand new album ‘Soul In A Suitcase’, with 8 shows in 8 days.

Rowan plays his own brand of poetic pop rock, which he describes as ‘kind of like a mix between the vocals of Jason Mraz, the imagination of Sting and the guitar playing of John Mayer.’

He discovered the joys of the guitar at the age of 11, and later became sought after as a session guitarist in many successful shows, such as We Will Rock You, before deciding to turn his passion for song writing into his full time job.

Finding his own voice as an original solo artist, he released his first album ‘A Thousand Brand New Places’ in early 2008. The album received radio play on over 20 stations across Southern Africa, and featured on several charts.

Recently, Rowan released his follow-up album, entitled ‘Soul In A Suitcase’, and tracks from the album have already begun receiving radio play on over 23 stations across Southern Africa. The latest single from the album, a track called ‘She’s Music’, has just been sent to radio stations nationwide.
